Epic scenery around Sky Mountain Lodge

I had the awesome and epic opportunity to stay at the Sky Mountain Lodge in Victor, Idaho for a great few days and captured several photos during that time. Just to highlight some of the awesome moments that I found while I was there not only stand out as some of my favorite photos during my stay there, but taught me valuable things about photography in total.

Epic Sun Rises

The hardest part about capturing a sunrise is the fact that you have to get up early. At least, earlier than I would like to get up on a regular day. But when you have such an awesome and awe inspiring scene laid before you it just goes to show that a little bit of work and patience is worth the lack of sleep.

By setting my camera to its proper settings in order to capture these scenes, I was allowed to really find the beauty of the sun and the way it brings life to the world around us.

Find the beauty in the ordinary

The ability to look around you is the first step to expanding your horizons. You can find anything around you as I found this bicycle and even this section of the wheat field to photograph and shows that you can find art in any subject that you may desire.
