Crime in Tetonia: Gearing Up and Crewing Up
As the time for production is coming at hand (and now that the weather is slightly warmer here in Idaho) it’s time to crew up and start filming. With interviews shortly underway, an important part of this documentary is to capture amazing and interesting visuals. This part of filmmaking is called “b-roll” and is named such because the “a-roll comprises the interview (aka main part of the film) while the secondary shots are was support the spoken work or evoke their own meaning through only visuals at times. I’m hoping to be able to collaborate with a fellow student in order to get spectacular drone shots of the valley. Most of the days filming will require me to film in good weather and recently the snow has been melting. Other shots will be within the town itself.
